Day, week, month — three ceilings, not three apps
Say “day limit 900”, “week limit 7000”, or “month limit 45000”. After a confirmed spend Galka says how much is still allowed. Living without a limit is fine: she does not require a ceiling to keep the journal.
Overspend
If you are already over the ceiling, the row still saves. Galka shows the overrun. This is not a card block and not a fine.
Personal and shared
In a family, a bare “day limit” lands on whoever wrote it. “Shared limit” lands on the chat. In friends-trip mode a day budget does not live: that is a tab, not an envelope.
Must-pays sit beside the limit, not inside it
Rent in plans is not auto-subtracted from the limit as “already forbidden.” The limit is a spend envelope. Plans are what you put on a day of the month yourself. Mixing them is false strictness.

About a ceiling without a lecture
Do I have to set a limit?
No. Without a ceiling the journal still works. A limit is if you want to hear the remainder.
Will overspend block coffee?
It still logs if you confirmed. A warning is not a ban.
How do I remove a limit?
Say remove the day, week, or month limit. That does not zero the till.
