What the bot sees, where it lives, what can be wiped
Not a privacy policy. What the bot sees, where the chat journal is, what “forget me” erases.
If a lawyer did not sign a retention period — I do not invent one.
Which messages reach the bot
Text, Telegram voice, button taps. In a group — not every conversation: call-out, mention, reply to its message, or a clear spend with amount and currency. The site does not take a microphone or ledger entries.
What is needed to reply in this chat
Chat and user identifiers Telegram provides. Without them the bot does not know where to write. That is transport, not a “passport form” we invented.
Voice
Galkka can turn a Telegram voice message into text if speech recognition is on. That is speech, not money parsing. If voice is off, Galkka asks for the amount in text. A download or recognition failure does not move the ledger. There is no vendor accuracy or field percentage on the site — on purpose.
Where operations live
The ledger lives on the server for this chat, not “only on the phone”. A “Record it?” draft hangs on the same chat until there is an answer. While the draft is on screen, the treasury does not change.
Retention period
There is no public figure “we keep N months”. So it is not here. Do not confuse a missing period with a promise that “we will delete it ourselves in a year”.
Deletion
“forget me” → warning → confirm → this chat’s ledger and settings reset, onboarding starts again. Reminders for this chat are cleared. Another chat is not touched. In the trial, the subscription survives wipe. Saying “no” leaves data in place.
Backups and developer access
Server backups are not a button in chat. Who among people has server access is not published on the site: it is not verified as a public fact. A recovery key from bot help is not a full-server backup.
Third parties
Messages go through Telegram. Voice transcription is a separate speech-recognition step in the bot if it is on. If analytics is on, the site counts visits; that is not the expense ledger. A live rate, if on, comes from external currency sources — that is about rates, not reporting your phrases to agencies.
Telegram bot limits
Anyone in the chat who can call Galkka sees replies about this ledger. Family mode does not make a secret stash from a spouse. A group admin can remove the bot. Telegram chats live by Telegram’s rules, not by a privacy policy we invented.
Limits
- This is not a legal privacy policy and not a GDPR document.
- The page /en/privacy/ is not published: there is no owner-signed text on retention, operator, and subject rights.
