One phrase, several amounts: what you actually get
Not “the bot understands complex phrases”. Below — phrase, result, and gaps.

Method
Synthetic phrases, date 2026-08-26. The ledger was not written in this run: we look only at parsing. The full set is on the neighboring lab page.
Why look at tails, not a hymn to “complex phrases”
One comma yields two lines. One “all from the card” tail leaves an extra scrap that never became a spend. That is worth more than promising it “understands like a human”.
What counts as success here
For several amounts in one phrase: as many money lines as explicit amounts; currency on each line; the comment does not drag another amount. This run does not press “Record it?”.
What the lab already showed
“coffee 80, taxi 200” yields two RUB lines. “bread 150 rubles and subscription 200 dollars” — RUB and USD, Food and Subscriptions categories. “breakfast 240 baht, taxi 180, all from the card” gave two THB spends and an extra tail on “all from the card” — that is a list error, not “the bot is smart”.

How we keep these pages
